Naugatuck legislators bring in more than $10,000 for the Salvation Army

NAUGATUCK – The rain and windy weather made for quite a chilly day on Tuesday, but that didn’t discourage State Reps. Rosa C. Rebimbas (R-70) and David K. Labriola (R-131) from stepping outside the Naugatuck Wal-Mart to ring the holiday bell for the Salvation Army. Within just one hour, the representatives were able to raise $5,194.23 – a contribution that will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Wal-Mart to achieve a grand total of nearly $10,400 – that will go to local families in need.
