State and local officials on Sept. 7 visited Waterbury-Oxford Airport to honor the Collings Foundation’s Wings of Freedom Tour.
The tour, which stopped at the airport from Sept. 6 to 8, featured three World War II combat aircraft and enabled World War II veterans from all services to reunite and share their stories.
