Zupkus Congratulates Region 16 CAPSS Award Winners

State Rep. Lezlye Zupkus (R-89) congratulates this year’s Region 16 Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents (CAPSS) Award winners. Rep. Zupkus presented the award winners with an official citation on behalf of herself, Sen. Joe Markley (R-16), and the Connecticut General Assembly.
“I’m so proud of these award winners. They are an exceptional group of students who have shown through their accomplishments both in academics and in service to their school and community that they are the future leaders of tomorrow. I wish them continued success”, said Rep. Zupkus.
“These students continue to amaze me with their talent and enthusiasm. They make everyone in our district very proud, said Sen. Markley.
The CAPSS Superintendent/Student Award Recognition Program, allows Superintendents the opportunity to recognize students based on community service and service to others, academics and leadership service to the school community.
