State Rep. Lezlye Zupkus (R-89) congratulates Sophia Nappi, who was named a winner in this year’s eeSmarts Student Essay Contest. Nappi, a sixth grader at St. Bridget School in Cheshire, submitted her persuasive essay written on the topic of convincing a parent or guardian to adopt a Family Energy Constitution. Zupkus paid a visit to St. Bridget School to congratulate Nappi on her impressive achievement and present Nappi with an official citation on behalf of the CT General Assembly.
The contest is open to Connecticut students in Grades K-12.
