HARTFORD — State Reps. Lezlye Zupkus and Al Adinolfi met with groups of fourth graders from Cheshire’s Doolittle Elementary School today to tell them a bit about their duties here and explain the legislative process. Zupkus, who represents the 89th General Assembly District, met the students at the Legislative Office Building and described the committee process—how bills are created, debated and sent to the House floor for vote. Adinolfi, who represents the 103rd District and lives a stone’s throw from Doolittle, met the students in the House chamber and fielded their varied questions while he described the protocol followed by representatives as they conduct business.
