PROSPECT – Rep. Lezlye Zupkus is inviting residents to join her and Sen. Rob Sampson for their forum in Prospect to discuss the ongoing problems with rising crime in local communities.

    WHERE: Prospect Town Hall

    36 Center Street, Prospect, CT

    WHEN: Thursday, December 14 at 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The veteran lawmakers will be joined by Prospect Public Safety Director Nelson Abarzua as they share with residents how police and state legislators are working to address the problem. Some state officials, and those in the majority, may say that crime is down, but recent headlines across the state suggest otherwise.

Just last month, Prospect residents were targeted by thieves who broke into multiple cars to steal from them. In Cheshire, a stolen vehicle intentionally crashed into a police car in a shopping plaza and in Waterbury violent crime continues to effect residents.
