PROSPECT – Rep. Lezlye Zupkus, R-Prospect, is helping residents retire their worn or frayed U.S. flags in a dignified and respectful way. A drop-off box for flags that are no longer in a condition to be displayed is now available for residents inside Prospect Town Hall. The collection drive will take place from May 14 through June 14. Flag Day is on Friday, June 14, and all flags collected during the drive will be respectfully retired during a ceremony conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
