PROSPECT/ BETHANY – Rep. Lezlye Zupkus, R-Prospect, recently delivered Valentine’s Day cards to local seniors that were created by students in Bethany Community School and Prospect Elementary School.
Rep. Zupkus stopped by the schools on Valentine’s Day to pick up cards that were made by the students to spread kindness in the community, then delivered them to senior centers in Bethany and Prospect.
The seniors loved them, and were thrilled that the students had taken the time to write them a Valentine.
“It’s gestures like these that can make a huge difference and I wanted to say thank you to the students and teachers who made this special event possible!” Rep. Zupkus said.
