CHESHIRE – State Rep. Lezlye Zupkus (R-89) recently met with Boy Scouts from local Den 7, Pack 92 at Norton School. Rep. Zupkus spent the time talking with the scouts, who hold the rank of Webelos II, about her role as a state legislator. The scouts were fulfilling the requirements for their ‘Building a Better World’ Adventure, which is a core requirement of the Webelos II program.
“I was so happy to meet with the Scouts and have the chance to speak with them about my role as a state legislator and encourage them to continue to make a difference in their communities and the world around them ,” said Rep. Zupkus. “I was very impressed with the hard work these scouts put in to complete the requirement. I hope that their time spent talking with me was helpful to their learning about government and I wish them all continued success on their scout journey.”
