Public Hearing on Assisted Suicide Bill

Regardless of where you stand on the issue, I wanted to make you aware of a public hearing this week on the emotional subject of assisted suicide. The bill would allow doctors to prescribe lethal medication to terminally ill, mentally competent people who request it.
The Judiciary committee will be having a public hearing on HB-7015, An Act Concerning Aid in Dying for Terminally Ill Patients on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. in Room 2C of the Legislative Office Building.
Public speaker order for the Judiciary public hearing will be determined by a lottery system. Lottery numbers will be drawn from 7:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. in the First Floor Atrium of the LOB. Speakers arriving after the completion of the lottery will have their names placed at the end of the speaker list.
If you do not have prior experience testifying at a legislative public hearing, please visit this link on the CGA website; it explains the process. http://www.cga.ct.gov/asp/Content/YourVoice.asp
