Wednesday, April 22 is Earth Day! It’s the perfect time to check out the great work being done by the Connecticut Forest & Park Association, a private, non-profit organization dedicated to connecting people to the land in order to protect forests, parks, walking trails, and open space throughout Connecticut for future generations.
Their experienced conservationists offer programs on the Blue-Blazed Hiking Trails, environmental education, land conservation, and public policy.
Please take a moment to learn more about their conservation effort in Connecticut and the many ways you can get outside now that the warmer weather is here and enjoy the great outdoors nearby!
We have beautiful local resources right here in our own back yard, such as West Rock Ridge and the Farmington Canal Trail State Parks, both of which I proudly adopted and continue to support.
Click below for more information, or to learn how you can help them in their effort to conserve Connecticut’s great natural resources.
