Dear Neighbors,
The General Assembly gaveled in for the 2017 Legislative Session this week. We have a number of critical issues to tackle this session including the growing budget deficit, now reaching $3.5 billion for the biennial budget.
During the month of January, I will be hosting Town Hall Meetings throughout the district to discuss the issues impacting our state and local communities. The first meeting will be in Bethany on Tuesday, January 10th, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. inside the Commissioner’s room in the Bethany Town Hall.

If you are unable to attend this meeting, I hope you can attend my other scheduled Town Hall Meetings in Cheshire and Prospect.
Prospect Town Hall- January 12th– 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
Cheshire Town Hall-January 31st– 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
As always, please feel free to reach out to me directly by sending me an email at Lezlye.Zupkus@housegop.ct.gov or calling my office, 860-240-8700.
Sincerely,

State Representative Lezlye Zupkus
