BETHANY- State Senator George Logan and State Rep. Lezlye Zupkus toured Bethany-based Connecticut Analytical Cooperation (CAC) on Monday.
CAC was founded in 1989 as a medical instrument manufacturing firm. The company has expanded to included instrument design, applied research, and medical diagnostic investigation.
“I enjoyed touring the Connecticut Analytical Cooperation and discussing the needs of the manufacturing and research industry with the president of the company Joseph Bango,” said Rep. Zupkus. “We both agreed that burdensome regulations are hampering small businesses from growing. “The manufacturing and research industry is an essential part of our state’s economy, and our primary focus should be centered on helping businesses and creating a highly educated workforce that is able to enter the new and innovated industry.”
“Our shared goal is to pass policies in Hartford which help businesses like Connecticut Analytical Cooperation expand and thrive,” Sen. Logan said. “We very much appreciated the tour.”
More information about the company can be found on their website, www.ctanalytical.com.
