(EAST HAVEN) — Recently, the Connecticut Department of Economic & Community Development’s (DECD) Office of the Arts announced a total of $1,050,000 in state arts grants for CT arts organizations and municipalities. In their announcement, the East Haven Arts Commission was awarded $4,215 to support local arts programs and other community-based art initiatives.

(HARTFORD) — On early Tuesday morning, while the rest of Connecticut was most likely sleeping, the House of Representatives was passing the Biennial State Budget Agreement which will go into effect during Fiscal Year 2024-2025. Classified as House Bill 6941, the 832-page budget document was delivered to my desk at 3:00AM the day before, giving us only a few hours to unpack all its details before casting our final vote.

(HARTFORD) — On Thursday, State Representative Joe Zullo (R-99) supported and co-sponsored House Bill 6901 An Act Concerning a Student Loan Reimbursement Program which supports those in the trades and other professionals to get out from under the crushing pressure of student loans.
