HARTFORD – State Representative Tami Zawistowski (R-East Granby) has earned a perfect voting record for 2021’s regular and special legislative sessions, never missing a vote throughout the entire year.

“My goal as state representative is to ensure the towns of the 61st District, East Granby, Suffield, and Windsor, have a strong voice in Hartford,” Rep. Zawistowski said. “It is truly an honor to represent you at the State Capitol. My votes mirror the hard work ethic and values prevalent in our community, and I will continue to serve in that manner.”

The House Clerk’s Office released the voting data this week. Legislators, on average, miss a handful of votes each year – only about a third of the legislature achieve a perfect voting record.

By the end of the year, the Speaker of the House had asked legislators to cast 426 votes. Rep. Zawistowski, who serves on the legislature’s Planning & Development, Appropriations, and Transportation committees, pressed the green ‘Yea’ button, or the red ‘Nay’ button in the historic House Chambers on every single voting opportunity that came before her.

The 2022 legislative session convenes in February. To follow along for legislative updates, visit RepZawistowski.com.
