Dear Friends & Neighbors,

Now that Thanksgiving has passed and the holiday shopping rush has begun, I encourage you to shop local this season.

Shopping local not only helps out our neighbors who own and work at small businesses – it puts money right back into the local economy by ensuring that up to 67% of the money spent stays in our community.

With that in mind, I want to remind you that tomorrow, November 30th, is Small Business Saturday, a nationwide celebration of small businesses’ contributions to our community.

This holiday season, we can all make an impact by keeping our shopping local and giving small businesses the spotlight they deserve.

Sincerely,

Tami Zawistowski – State Representative – 61st Assembly District
