Dear Friends & Neighbors,
As a member of the Legislature’s Tourism Caucus, I have focused on growing awareness of the attractions and business in our area of the state. To further that goal I will be hosting a Brochure Swap in conjunction with the New England Air Museum, the Bradley Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Central Regional Tourism District.
Friday, May 24th
8:00 a.m. -10:00 a.m.
New England Air Museum
36 Perimeter Road, Windsor Locks
Restaurants, small retailers, historical attractions, wineries and breweries, antique shops, craft stores, Chambers of Commerce and any other tourism-related business/attractions are encouraged to attend! The idea of the Brochure Swap is cross-promotion – tourism attractions and tourism related businesses will have an opportunity to bring their promotional materials to New England Air Museum and have them picked up by other attractions/businesses in the surrounding area.
How the swap works- Participants bring a large amount of brochures, cards, coupons, etc. to the swap. These items will be displayed on tables around the room. Participants would pick up any items from other businesses/attractions they feel they could cross promote at their location.
This is a free event and an opportunity to create synergies in promoting North Central Connecticut as a tourism destination.
Please RSVP your attendance with my office by emailing Ashley.McMann@cga.ct.gov.
Sincerely,
State Representative Tami Zawistowski – 61st Assembly District
