Winter Clothing Drive to Benefit Veterans in Need

State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87) announced today that he is sponsoring a Veterans Day Donation Drive to benefit area veterans, women, and children in need this upcoming winter season. With colder temperatures on the way, Rep. Yaccarino is collecting donations of NEW thermal underwear, sweatshirts, sweatpants, warm hats, gloves, and heavy winter socks (sizes medium and up preferred).

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer will affect 1 in 8 women. After skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women in the U.S.
