Rep. Dave Yaccarino has delivered meaningful wins for our town, fighting for families, honoring veterans, promoting safety, reducing costs, and standing firm on local values. Here’s what he’s accomplished this session:
$2.6 Million Secured for North Haven High School
Rep. Yaccarino successfully secured $2.6 million through HB 7288 to reimburse North Haven for an old high school project cost overrun, saving local taxpayers from footing the bill.
Advocating For Local Control in Housing
Voted NO on HB 5002, hoping that the Governor will veto.

Supported bipartisan legislation to combat illegal street takeovers, dangerous events that have hit North Haven. This law increases penalties and gives law enforcement the tools they need.

Standing Up for Lawful Immigration
Debated HB 7259 to oppose protections for repeat criminal offenders who are in the country illegally. Rep. Yaccarino supports legal immigration, public safety, and equal accountability.

Co-sponsored S.B. 1560, a bipartisan energy bill that could:
