Rep. Weir Talks with Engineering Students about Flight and Career Opportunities

Yesterday, I had another opportunity to share my passion for helicopters with students from RHAM High School. As part of Mrs. Lastrina’s aerospace and engineering class, students were studying aircraft systems and flight principles. This provided me with an opportunity to show them an aircraft in person, answer questions, and highlight the opportunities that are available if they choose to pursue a career in the industry.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have had an opportunity to share this experience with students over the past few years. I appreciate the staff and faculty who have allowed me to share my interest in flying with others and see a mutual spark appearing for them too.
