It truly is a small world.
During yesterday's ribbon cutting to unveil the new Multisport Turf Fields at Glastonbury High School, State Representative Steve Weir bumped into KC Warren and Jason Albert, who were a couple of his old classmates back in 1992. KC is the head coach for the boys’ soccer team and Jason works as the Park Maintenance Supervisor with the Parks and Recreation Department.
"These fields will not only provide our local and high school athletes with a top-notch place to come together and practice/play, but a space where they will most certainly build and develop the types of important life skills they will use throughout the rest of their lives," Rep. Weir said.
Amazing work by everyone involved to get these athletic fields to where they are today.
