State Capitol Hosts School Manufacturing ConnecCTion Fair

As part of the School Manufacturing ConneCTion Fair held today at the State Capitol, I had an opportunity to talk with several manufacturing companies from across our state and catch up with a constituent of mine Charles Daniels, President of Wepco Plastics.

This annual event brings together students and manufacturing businesses from across the state to highlight the types of internships and job opportunities that are available to students who may be interested in pursuing a career in the industry.

Third-grade Students at Hebron Elementary Meet Their State Representative

I had the opportunity to talk with third-grade students from Hebron Elementary School (It was great to see Mr. Hurley!) who were visiting the State Capitol as part of a school tour. I will always make time to break from the chaotic day-to-day nature of committee meetings and other legislative events to meet with individuals and/or groups from our district, especially our teachers and their students.
