Rep. Veach Acknowledges Local Family Helping Veterans

In 2024, The Calvanese Foundation created another way to give back to Southington and surrounding communities, by offering to feed around 300 local veterans and their families on Thanksgiving. In just one year, the event has seen its attendance grow significantly, with 700 people attending in 2025.

This morning, I had an opportunity to present a legislative citation to the foundation to recognize and acknowledge their commitment, and the selflessness of so many volunteers, who took such good care of our veterans during this important time of thanks!
