During a House debate, Republicans proposed an amendment aimed at addressing the drastic increase in juvenile car thefts across the state.

“Unfortunately for the residents of Connecticut when it came to enacting change many of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle (all but 4) chose the status quo,” Rep. Veach said. “Many lawmakers still refuse to believe this issue needs addressed and would rather study it than actually do something about it.”
