HARTFORD – The clocks have sprung forward an hour, marking the first time change of the 2023 calendar year. The clocks will be set back an hour on Sunday, November 5th, at 2:00 a.m. Recently, WTNH provided coverage of this subject matter and its impact on Connecticut residents.

Vail continues to advocate for a static time zone, as the biannual changing of the time poses various unnecessary health risks. Studies have shown increased motor vehicle accidents, heat attacks, and stress-related incidences in the days following the time changes.
