HARTFORD – For the fourth time, State Representative J.P. Sredzinski (R-112) is being recognized for his outstanding attendance record at the Legislature in Hartford.
Rep. Sredzinski cast a vote on all 388 pieces of legislation that came before the House of Representatives during the 2019 Regular Legislative Session. According to statistics compiled by the House Clerk’s Office, this perfect score and attendance is very difficult to achieve, with only about 20% of legislators being able to do so in any given year.
“It can be very challenging to be present for every single vote as debates can continue late into the night, and schedules at the legislature are often made last minute – especially when you have a family and a full-time job,” said Rep. Sredzinski. “However, I am dedicated to my constituents and feel proud that I was able to represent their voice on 100% of the regular legislative sessions’ votes.”
Rep. Sredzinski represents the 112th district in the General Assembly and is currently serving his third term as a Republican lawmaker. He serves on the legislature’s Human Services and Higher Education & Employment Services Committees, and is Ranking Member of the Public Safety Committee. He has also worked on the Legislative School Safety Working Group.
