On Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 10:30 AM, the Energy and Technology committee will be holding a listening session to get public testimony on a bill to address emergency responses and revise the regulation of our public utilities.

If you wish to testify via Zoom, you must register in advance here:
*Registration will close on Monday @ 12PM* No internet
access? No problem! You can also provide testimony via phone. To register to
testify by phone, call the Phone Registrant Line – (860) 240-0430 and leave your
contact information. And finally, you can email written testimony in Word
or PDF format to ETTestimony@cga.ct.gov. The
Committee encourages witnesses to submit a written statement and to condense oral testimony to a summary of that statement.
Also October 21st-23rd: More PURA Storm Response Hearings
Three consecutive public hearings related to UI and Eversource’s response to Tropical Storm Isaias have been scheduled starting October 21st through October 23rd. More details on the public hearings are not available at the moment, but as information emerges I will share it with you. PURA is currently accepting public comments at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you choose to email testimony, please include Docket No. 20-08-03 in the subject line.
