Wreaths Across America to Stop in Connecticut on Dec. 17th

Wreaths Across America (WAA) will honor Veterans during a ceremony at the State Veterans Cemetery Middletown Connecticut (CTMVCM) on December 17, 2022, at 12:00 p.m.

WAA is also travelling the country with its Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE), a rolling interactive museum that shares the organization’s mission to Remember the nation’s fallen veterans, Honor those who serve, and teach the next generation about the value of freedom.

State Representative Bill Pizzuto (R-71) thanked Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) Chairman Melissa Gillett for coming to the Waterbury Senior Center and spending more than an hour and a half engaging with more than 35 concerned seniors and delivering the agency’s “PURA 101” workshop.

With energy prices climbing it’s more important than ever to consider what we pay, and more importantly how we use energy, which is why State Representative Bill Pizzuto (R-71) is asking concerned residents to join him and Chairman Melissa Gillette for a “PURA 101 and Your Electric Bill” workshop.

The program will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 21st at the Waterbury Senior Center. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and you must RSVP in advance.   The Center is located
