Police Accountability Bill Listening Session

Many of you have reached out about the draft bill addressing police accountability now being considered by the state legislature.

The CT General Assembly’s Judiciary Committee has just announced that a virtual listening session on the proposed bill will take place on Friday, July 17, 2020. This session is being held for the public to submit testimony and provide comment to committee members regarding proposed legislation on police accountability.

If you wish to speak at the Listening Session, you will be prompted to register within the on-line portal. Registration for public comment closes tonight, Thursday, July 16, at 6:00 p.m. To access the registration portal click below.

You can also watch the session live or on-demand on Connecticut Network TV or CT-N.com. The session will start at 10 am on Friday and end no later than 10 pm.
