Hartford – The House Clerk’s Office has compiled its 2024 vote tally calculations into a voting record report. This annual report details how many times each representative voted throughout the course of the 2024 regular and special sessions. Rep. John Piscopo (R-76) was notified that he achieved a perfect, 100% voting record this year.
“It is an honor to be entrusted with the voice of our community. Voting is perhaps the most critical part of any legislator’s job, and I take that responsibility with the utmost reverence. I will always advocate for state-wide policies that help families and individuals keep more of their hard earned money, and oppose tax and spend initiatives that make Connecticut a tougher place to afford to live. We had some excellent bills pass this year, which helped our veterans, first responders, students, and increase access to critical health services,” said Piscopo.
According to the House Clerk’s Office, the Speaker called 276 votes this year. Roughly one-third of the House membership achieved perfect voting records in 2024, including Piscopo. The House stands adjourned for the year.
