HARTFORD — Foreclosures, conveyance taxes and the value of real estate licenses were among subjects discussed this morning during “Realtor Day” at the Capitol, where hundreds of agents and brokers had an opportunity to talk to lawmakers about issues important to their profession. Rep. John Piscopo, for one, spent a portion of his day with Northwest Corner agents as well as those from the greater Bristol region. They filed into first and second-floor hearing rooms and Piscopo listened to them describe issues they’re concerned about, such as legislation — it died in committee — that loosened guidelines regarding who can sell properties.
