2023 Legislative Session Convenes, Committee Process Begins

HARTFORD – State Rep. John Piscopo was sworn into office on Wednesday, January 4, beginning another term representing the 76^th District. Piscopo will serve on the Environment, Energy & Technology, and Finance committees over the course of the 2023 and 2024 legislative sessions.

The 2023 session will adjourn on Wednesday, June 7. Prior to adjournment the legislature must craft its two-year state budget. A document that Rep. Piscopo is eager to work on in order to provide much-needed tax relief to Connecticut’s residents and businesses.
