Area Legislators Welcome Taxpayers and Talk Policy Issues over Pizza

State Representative William A. Petit Jr., and State Senator Henri Martin held their most recent Pizza and Policy event with Plainville residents on Tuesday, October 1, 2019. The legislators welcomed their constituents with pizza and invited them to discuss policy issues pertaining to state government.

The event was held at West Main Pizza located at 97 East Main Street in Plainville from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and nearly 40 individuals attended to discuss the 2019 legislative session, new laws and taxes that recently went into effect such as the grocery tax, the Trail project in Plainville and vaccines.

Petit and Martin both provided an update and allowed equal time for questions from attendees.

Admission to the event was free and the public was invited to attend.
