PLAINVILLE – State Representative William A. Petit Jr. (R-22) and State Senator Henri Martin (R-31) in cooperation with the American Legion Post #197 encourage residents to retire your worn American flags at two drop-off locations within the 22nd District.

Flags will be collected from Wednesday, May 29th until Thursday, June 13th.

Plainville Town Hall, 1 Central Square

Plainville Public Library, 56 East Main Street

The U.S. Flag Code specifies that old American flags no longer in service must be properly disposed, and Rep. Petit and American Legion are offering this service free of charge.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact Rep. Petit at William.Petit@housegop.ct.gov, or by calling (860) 842-1423.
