We obtained $2 million in funding from the State of CT to improve the road, re-open the railroad crossing at Wooster Street, and create open space opportunities where visitors can see the historic river locks along the Housatonic Dam.
The State of CT supports Shelton because we have a track record of success. To his credit, Mayor Lauretti has done an excellent job when it comes to projects like this.
