(HARTFORD) — On Monday, the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) released their 2023 Legislative Voting Records grading General Assembly members on their support for key bills that promote local business, economic development, and a positive post-pandemic recovery. In their records, State Representative Jason Perillo (R-113) received a perfect score, demonstrating his commitment to business owners and our workforce throughout Connecticut.

“I am grateful to once again receive a 100% voting record from the CBIA,” said Perillo on Monday. “As the effects of inflation and high prices continue to make our state more unaffordable, I am committed to putting the interests and needs of our business owners and employees first. By doing this, we can support businesses, our workforce, as well as our consumers to generate a more sustainable economy.”

The CBIA’s mission is to advocate at the state Capitol for policies that support job creation, foster economic growth, and help businesses compete. As the largest leading business organization, the CBIA also offers services and informational updates to owners and employees to help track legislation and submit public testimony throughout the legislative session.

Perillo added, “I want to thank CBIA and extend my congratulations to all my recognized colleagues. Last session, I proudly voted in favor of statewide workforce development, more transparent business reporting requirements, and property tax abatements for first-time homebuyers. Additionally in our district, I have also appreciated meeting owners and employees in my local business tours as we continue our Showcase Shelton series.”
