Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Gridley Street Houses

Thanks to organizations like Neighborhood Housing Greater New Britain and their partnerships with organizations like Greater Bristol Homes, U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), CT Housing Finance Authority (CHFA), and CT Department of Housing, affordable housing for first-time low-income homebuyers is possible.

This morning, I joined representatives from these organizations, local and state leaders, and others directly involved to see the impact those partnerships are having in our community at a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil two multi-family properties on Gridley Street.

Once all of the requirements are met, qualified applicants are entered into a lottery to determine who is able to purchase the property.
