
Representative Pavalock-D’Amato Reappointed Insurance Committee House Ranking Member

HARTFORD – State Representative Cara Pavalock-D’Amato (R-77) was reappointed Ranking Member of the General Assembly’s Insurance Committee by House Republican Leader Vincent Candelora (R-86).
A Ranking Member is the designated leader from the minority party on a committee. Each committee has a House and Senate ranking member. Individuals who serve in this role are responsible for bringing forward legislation and communicating to their caucuses details about bills voted out of committees.
“It is an honor to continue serving as the ranking member of the Insurance and Real Estate Committee,” Rep. Pavalock-D’Amato said. I look forward to working with the Democrat chair on bills that will assist Connecticut residents with their healthcare and residential needs.”
The Insurance and Real Estate Committee has cognizance of all matters relating to insurance law and real estate law.
Rep. Pavalock’s reassignment will take effect on Wednesday, January 8th at the start of the next legislative term.
