2021 Legislative Update & Discussion on Open Choice Schooling
I hope you can join me on Thursday (February 25) from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for a virtual town hall. I will be discussing major issues for the 2021 legislative session as well as open choice schooling.
There are two ways to participate:
-
Join the Zoom call (no registration or account required): Connect virtually here
-
Can’t connect virtually? Call in: (646) 558-8656; Meeting ID: 969 8398 0665
There is a bill currently before the legislature’s Education Committee, Proposed Bill 255, which would expand the interdistrict public school attendance program to permit students from Norwalk and Danbury to attend public schools in neighboring towns.
Please feel free to email me any questions about the open choice program or any legislative issue in advance of Thursday’s town hall.

If you are unable to attend, you may always reach out to me about any state or local issue that you would like to discuss. I am more than happy to speak with you directly.
