    COVID-19 Update:

Honoring Local Heroes, Virtual Town Halls, News from the Governor’s Office, and More

    Honoring Local Heroes

Today is International Firefighters’ Day, and this year, it carries special significance. While most of us are able to work remotely from the safety of our homes, frontline workers do not have that option. To honor our local firefighters and all first responders, healthcare professionals, and other essential workers, I hope you will join me in thanking them for their ongoing efforts to fight this virus, treat patients, and serve our community.

Seeing as it’s also Teacher Appreciation Week, I would like to thank our educators throughout New Canaan and Wilton for continuing to help and support our students virtually as schools remain closed. We are fortunate to live in a day and age where learning can take place outside the classroom, and we are greatly appreciative to our teachers for adapting their lesson plans to our new circumstances. Thank you for continuing to prepare our future leaders for success!

    Upcoming Town Halls

There are two upcoming town hall meetings with our state and congressional leaders. These virtual events will be hosted by the Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC).
