VERNON – Rep. Tammy Nuccio, R-Tolland, was recently invited to Maple Street School in Vernon to take part in the school’s Career Day.
Rep. Nuccio said it was great to spend some time with the class and take some questions about what it’s like to work at the Capitol.
The topics covered during the day included whether the job was difficult and how laws are created in Connecticut.
“These students were so bright and inquisitive, and it was a pleasure to answer all their questions,” Rep. Nuccio said. “I hope by sharing a bit about what it’s like to serve as a representative, it inspires a student to run for office one day.”
