Attendees were recognized for their exemplary professional and personal contributions and she was "nominated by CCADV, who recognizes your courage and strength to provide advocacy, justice and hope to survivors and their families across the state."

State Rep. Greg Howard was also honored during the ceremony, which also included former representative William A Petit Jr. who has continued to dedicate his time to the Coalition.
