Posted on October 3, 2023

HARTFORD – The Prescription Drug Discount Card Program launched in Connecticut on Oct. 2, enabling residents to save a lot on prescription drugs through a partnership of states that leverages buying power and lowers costs.

For instance, using the card, the cash price of Omeprazole would be reduced from $93.01 to approximately $12.27. Other prescription drugs are eligible for similar discounts.

Using the ArrayRx discount card, residents can fill out a form, available online at arrayrxcard.com. A valid physical Connecticut address and e-mail address are required to enroll. The card will be provided to consumers digitally via e-mail and can be downloaded to smartphone wallets. It is anticipated that the card can be used at approximately 98% of pharmacies in Connecticut.
