Rep. Marra Meets with the Residents of Atria

Rep. Tracy Marra recently met with more than two dozen residents at Atria Darien for an early afternoon discussion about state policies, the previous and upcoming legislative sessions, and the issues that are affecting Connecticut residents daily.

The nearly hour-long talk featured discussions about the Prescription Drug Task Force which Rep. Marra co-chaired, efforts to lower the cost of medications. They also discussed taxes and state fees, education, and many shared their concerns regarding transportation options.

Energy was another important topic, and many residents expressed their concern for the increasing costs. Rep. Marra, who serves as Ranking member of the Energy and Technology Committee, spent a long time discussing the underlying issues, past and current proposals to address concerns, and explained the Public Benefits Charges in detail.
