Today, I joined ADHD parent and advocate Jeff Spahr, Norwalk Superintendent Steven Adamowski, Norwalk Public Schools Chief of Specialized Learning Yvette Goorevitch, Mayor Harry Rilling, and Sen. Bob Duff to show support for children and their families who are affected by the condition. More than 6 million students are living with ADHD, and it affects their performance in the classroom.
I am always happy to support the continuing efforts of Jeff Spahr to help families, educators, and policy makers understand ADHD. Together, we are continuing to raise awareness in the Norwalk area, and to help these individuals gain access to the resources they need to be successful in school and in life.
