This week, I stood with my colleagues to roll out our House Republicans Property Tax Relief plan.

It triples the state property tax credit to $1,000 and expands eligibility so more than 800,000 taxpayers can benefit—real help for homeowners, families, and seniors. With costs rising, this is targeted relief that keeps more money in your pocket, and I’ll be pushing to get additional support for this measure.

Our residents in Griswold, Ledyard, Lisbon, Preston, Voluntown and across Connecticut deserve this much-needed relief.

Some of the key points to our initiative include:

-Lawmakers propose middle-class property tax cuts to reduce the burden on Connecticut's homeowners

-Connecticut House Republicans propose targeted relief to lower residential tax bill

-Proposal includes exemptions/credits for qualifying middle-income homeowners

-Will provide relief & improve affordability while shielding families from tax hikes
