Check out this video from my recent visit to Westminster Tool – one of the leading employers in the 45th District. This company actively recruits Connecticut residents for these in-demand jobs, which include drafting, machining, and much more. They are working with the community colleges and youth manufacturing pipelines to encourage students to go into this great profession.
We should continue to encourage young people to explore these promising career options. Not only is there a need for these skills, but the training and education they receive on the job can propel our children to unimaginable heights.
