Rep. Lanoue’s Upcoming Events

The 2019 legislative session adjourned on June 5th after five months of committee meetings, public hearings and floor debates. This session covered several issues including the state budget, minimum wage, paid family and medical leave, the opioid crisis, public safety, tolls, and much more.
I’m sure many of you have questions that you would like addressed, and I would like to provide you with that opportunity. I have scheduled the following events with State Representative Anne Dauphinais and State Senator Heather Somers:
Town Hall Meeting
Plainfield Senior Center
482 Norwalk Road, Plainfield
Thursday, June 27th, 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
AND
Coffee Hour
The Olde American Diner
724 Norwich Road, Plainfield
Saturday, June 29th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
In addition, I will be holding monthly office hours on the fourth Monday of every month until the next session begins in February.
Office Hours
Slater Library
26 Main St, Jewett City
Every fourth Monday, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The first one will be held on Monday, June 24th.
I will be planning additional coffee hours throughout the summer and will provide you with that information when it becomes available. I hope to see you at some of these events and around the district.
If you are unable to attend these events, but still have questions or concerns about state government issues, never hesitate to contact me. I am happy to schedule a time to speak with you personally.
