Rep. Lanoue Testifies in Support of Bill Defending Law-Abiding Gun Owners

I have always been a strong advocate of our Second Amendment rights, and today, I had the opportunity to testify in support of H.B. 5227, An Act Concerning the Regulation of Firearms by Municipalities, a bill I introduced. This bill would prohibit local governments from imposing firearm restrictions that are more burdensome than those enacted by the state and federal governments. I will continue to stand with law abiding gun owners and I hope this legislation advances to the House and Senate.
