    The Veterans Committee voted Thursday to hold a public hearing on my concept that will help streamline the bureaucracy on certifications for active-duty military personnel and fire departments regarding 2Q endorsements.

    I am grateful to the committee for raising this concept and look forward to listening to the testimony during the public hearing.
